VSTEP B1, B2, C1 Speaking Part 2: Solution Discussion

- Question:

Your city wants to promote local tourism. What place would you recommend: a local museum, a nature park, or a cultural heritage site?

- Answer:

I'd recommend promoting the local museum to boost tourism in our city. Museums are windows into a city's history, arts, culture, and more, providing educational and enriching experiences that often cater to a broad range of age groups and interests. It's a great way to learn about our city's identity.

While a nature park is great for promoting environmental awareness and outdoor activities, it might not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer more curated experiences. Also, nature parks might be more weather-dependent, potentially limiting visitation in adverse conditions.

Cultural heritage sites are undeniably important; they embody the city's traditions and history. However, they often appeal to a more niche audience interested in historical architecture and anthropology, possibly limiting their reach.

The museum, on the other hand, can incorporate elements of both natural and cultural heritage, providing a holistic view of the city's past, present, and future, thus offering something interesting for every visitor.
