VSTEP B1, B2, C1 Speaking Part 2: Solution Discussion
- Question:
Your family asks for your preference on birthday celebration. Would you choose a family dinner, a party with friends, or a solo trip?
- Answer:
I would choose a family dinner for my birthday celebration. In our fast-paced lives, we often don't get enough quality time with our families. A birthday celebration could serve as a great opportunity to strengthen family bonds over a shared meal.
While a party with friends can be fun and exciting, it might not offer the same level of intimate conversation and connection that a family dinner could provide. Moreover, parties often require significant planning and preparation, which could be stressful.
A solo trip might be an interesting way to celebrate and could provide some valuable time for self-reflection. However, it lacks the shared joy that comes from celebrating with loved ones.
In contrast, a family dinner is a more relaxed and intimate event, allowing us to share laughter, stories, and create meaningful memories. It's a celebration that not only marks my birthday but also cherishes the family bonds, making it my preferred choice.
