Is this a correct sentence?

I heard a British guy on the TV say: 'It is nice, but there's not much furniture in it.'

"Furniture" is an uncountable noun, so it's singular, which agrees with the verb "is," and the determiner "much" goes with uncountable nouns, so the sentence is, in fact, correct.
