1. Congratulations for a superb performance! 2. Congratulations on a superb performance! Which one is correct please?

Both are correct (at least in US English), but "on" is more commonly used.

Congratulate someone/congratulations ON something. Congratulate someone/congratulations ON/FOR doing something.

You can use both, there's a very slight difference.
