how do we transform 'no sooner sentences' sentences to 'as soon as' sentences without changing the meaning of the sentence

No sooner + auxiliary verb + subject + main verb + than + clause Ex.: No sooner had I arrived home than the phone rang. Ex.: No sooner did I arrive home than the phone rang.
