Never in my life have I seen such a beautiful girl

i don't understand this struction of the below sentence. Why don't we say "i have never seen such a beautiful girl in my life"? How different?

We do say it. In fact, that's the "normal" word order. The structure negative adverbial + auxiliary verb + subject is a case of inversion and is formal or literary in style.
