current account vs checking account

What is the difference between current account and checking account? Thank a lot.

Current account is British English. Checking account is American English.

The current account used exclusively by the commercial company or commerce ppl, and have the advantage of withdraw the money from your account even if you haven't any. In the other side the checking account used just by the regular ppl for their daily operations, and got no interest.
