\nA keystone species is one that has a disproportionately large impact on its ecosystem. Its removal can cause significant changes. An indicator species, on the other hand, is used to assess the overall health of an ecosystem. It indicates the presence or absence of certain conditions.\n<\/p>\n
\nWhile both conservation and preservation aim to protect the environment, they have different approaches. Conservation focuses on sustainable use of resources, while preservation advocates for leaving nature untouched.
