\nIn crystallography, symmetry is a fundamental concept. It refers to the balanced arrangement of atoms or molecules in a crystal. On the other hand, asymmetry means the absence of symmetry. Understanding symmetry is crucial for analyzing crystal structures and predicting their properties.\n<\/p>\n
