How to use in-sentence of “number of items”:
– This is an implementation template intended to be used “by other templates”; in an article, it is easier simply to write out the list longhand, but in a template this can be complicated if the number of items in the list is unknown.
– Before counting starts, the result can be assumed to be zero; that is the number of items counted before one counts the first item, and counting the first item brings the result to one.
– Thus, it can take a week before this template changes when the number of items have changed.
– When this template is placed on a category page it can count the number of items in the category.
– Players can only carry a certain number of items at any time, by holding them in their inventory.
